Well, so much for updating every single day of Christmas. I was so busy playing Final Fantasy VII. I finished the whole game - except killing off Ruby because I didn't want to do any cheap tactics. I'll kill him eventually. The break seemed pretty short now that I look back on it, but it was good while it lasted. I didn't go out much, but I did get to see my two best friends which was pretty awesome!

Anyways, this semester has been pretty slack so far, I went to class for the first two weeks and my whole schedule changes one day because I'm now on Probationary status at Ryerson. Basically, the first two weeks of class were a waste of time since I now have to retake my last semester courses.

I have Geography of Danger (which I love), Discrete Math (which I will hate later), and Calculus (which should be okay if I keep up with the work). It should all be review, but towards the end of the semester I know I'll be learning new things since that's when I stopped paying attention. All I'm hoping for is to clear my Probationary Status so that I can switch out to something else - and not get kicked out. I was referred to ITM, so maybe that's what I'll be taking next year. I'm not sure yet, but Computer Science / Engineering doesn't seem like it's for me.

This is what I have learned in History of Science and Technology class so far.

"Zeno argues that to reach a point, you much first cover half the distance to a point. It's September 7th and Summer is now over. In 12 hours, I'll be in my Physics class, learning and reviewing old stuff. Unfortunately, it won't be "review" for me. I have to go into my nerd mode again, kind of like last year. There's nothing much left to say, but there's school tomorrow and I'm definitely not excited. Ryerson here I come.

So, yesterday I finally got most of my schedule for University. It's actually much more empty than I thought it would be, but that's because I still have to choose two electives. One of them will be Physics and I still don't know what the other one will be. It's kind of tough for me to choose, but that's only because none of them interest me all that much. Thankfully, I have until August 18 to decide. I'll post my schedule on here when it's all done after August 19th or something like that. I'm kind of excited for University, but not entirely. School's about a month away, where did Summer go? I should probably mention that this is probably one of the worst Summer's weather-wise in a while. It hasn't hit 30 degrees since June 28th or something; it just sucks because I like it when it's 32 degrees.

After a rough night, today I'm off to a journey with my girlfriend and her brother. I have no clue where we're going to go, but it's going to be a journey, which could possibly mean downtown. I don't know for sure, and we'll just have to see how it goes.

I'm currently reading Angels & Demons and it's probably the best book I've ever read in my life - seeing how I've only read two other books in my life. It's really interesting and is so scientific, I wish I took Biology in High School, but it's too late now.

Oh yeah, I've been thinking about it for a couple of days now. It's funny how students have to pick what to do for the next 45 years of their life at the age of 17 /18. How are we really supposed to know what we want to be? Oh well.

Although, Michael Jackson never had much impact on my life for the past 10 years, he definitely played a part of my childhood. R.I.P. Michael Jackson.

So, Nikki wasn't home for pretty much the whole day. This is what happens when she's not home. My day:

-   I woke up at around 9 or something, i don't really remember. I woke up because Nikki called me and that's all i remember.
-   I think she called again later after she finished showering, again i don't really remember.
-   I went back to sleep.
-   I woke up at 12:27 p.m. to eat breakfast (Bacon, Ham and Eggs, yum).
-   I went back to sleep.
-   I woke up at around 2:25 p.m. and read my whole unread list on G-Reader.
-   I went back to sleep.
-   I woke up at around 3 because some guy called me and then i went back to sleep.
-   I woke up at 3:50 and decided to blog. After that i went to sleep again.
-   I woke up at around 5 something because Nikki called me and woke me up.
-   I ate grapes. After 2 plates, i went back to sleep.
-   When Nikki got home, at around 8, i woke up since she called me.
-   Since then, I uploaded some pictures on Facebook, watched Star Wars (on Spike TV), watched 2 Family Guy episodes online, watched half of the last The Office episode online (cause of Megavideo's time limit thing) and also watched the UFC 96 main event (yes, Rampage).
-   I've also been reading Fifth Business [again] for the past 3 hours (really only 2, due to clocks pushing forward or whatever).

That concludes my day, very sleep-full and very boring-full. Time for me to go to bed yet again. I was supposed to do homework today, but clearly that didn't happen. Tomorrow will be a Physics-filled day. I'm mildly excited.

Another English writing folder thing, but it'll be the last one i post so don't worry.

I had to make a poem about anger for my English writing folder, so i thought i'd decide to share it with you guys, since i already handed it in. That and i'm also completely bored. It was a cause and effect poem, hence why it is structured the way it is. It's kind of lame and fairly tech-related in a way (referring to Internet going down). I also related it to Starcraft (tasting sweet victory), although i make it sound like a sport. Anyways, no need to make fun of it, it was for school.

Dear Physics,

I hate you at times. I know that we are on break right now. I am also aware that you are "the science of matter and energy and their interactions," but you are just too difficult to handle right now. You and all of your many [derived] equations makes it extremely hard to figure you out. Sometimes, even the smartest of people have trouble figuring out exactly what your answer is, since you seem to be giving mixed signals. I've had you in my arms for only 4 days and i am already having problems dealing with you; this could be due to the fact that i haven't held you for over 2 years. It doesn't feel the same. I am looking back and reviewing what you told me 2 years ago, but i just can't understand you. I don't understand why you choose to speak in numbers and not words. You briefly explained Vector Components to me, but i still don't understand what you mean. I'm currently having problems trying to figure out your Final Velocity, even though you've told me your Initial Velocity and Average Acceleration and Time. Why are you putting me through these tests? It's been over 3 hours, yet i've only done 25 questions. If my calculations are correct, that is an Average Velocity of 8.33 homework questions / hour. Please tell me if that is correct; if it is not i can Change. I am having my doubts about you, but i'm going to be with you for the next 4 years of my life. If we're having problems now, Physics, how will we work out in the future? Will this relationship work in the long-term? Can you handle all of my frustration that i will let out on you as Time passes by? I really do hope that i can figure you out because i've been studying you for, what seems like, forever. I really hope you do understand because i am trying my best. But, will my best be good enough for you?

Since this is just my thoughts blog, i don't always have to talk about something meaningful all the time. My schedule is as follows:

8:30 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. -> English
9:50 a.m. - 11:50 a.m. -> Spare
11:55 a.m. - 1:10 p.m. -> Calculus
1:15 p.m. - 2:30 p.m. -> Physics

Last year, i got a 70 in English and it was actually my best course last year. My average last year was a pathetic 61.7%. Yes, i know i did terrible last year, but i've turned that around this year. Although, my marks still aren't great, they were a significant upgrade from last year. My average, this year, in Semester 1 was 72.7%, so i thought that was a pretty good semester, even though i know i could have done better. I hope that i can maintain an average of 80 this semester, so that i can bump my overall average to a 78.7%, which would get me into University easily. Even though i only need a 70 - 75% to get into University, it doesn't hurt to be above the required average. Anyways, like i said, i have English for first period and i hope that i can maintain an 80 in that class. I feel that blogging has, at least a little bit, improved my English skills. For Calculus, i should be able to bump my old 62% to an 80% easily. Keep in mind that my average was so low last year because of the devilish World of Warcraft. Anyways, my toughest course will definitely be Physics because i haven't taken Physics for 2 years and it's the only course that i didn't do last year. I already know how my typical day will go, if everything stays the same. In English, i will just do my work and stay quiet all period, since i know absolutely no one in that class. From 9:50 a.m. - 11:05 a.m. i am going to read my Google Reader on my laptop in the library. From 11:05 a.m. - 11:50 a.m. Sarah from my Religion class last semester will join me in the library, so that i`ll have someone to talk to for a bit. For Calculus, i will be bored, but i`ll listen to the teacher anyway. I`ll probably also do my work while he teaches, since i know the whole semester already. For Physics, i will have to actually listen to the teacher, since it`s a new course. I might even end up getting suspended this year because they have a new `policy`on lateness, which sucks for me because i have to take 3 buses to school.

The good thing about this semester is that it`s my last semester at my high school. I`m tired of the boring everyday high school life and i just wished i had tried last year, so that i`d already be in University. Last year was such a waste of a whole school year. There`s nothing to blame except World of Warcraft myself.
